I opened my first ever gallery when I was 21 years old and it was based in the picturesque, Yorkshire Dales town of Pateley Bridge in the heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
JOT’s 2023 Gallery comprised three spacious exhibition rooms where I showed my original artwork, framed and unframed Giclee prints, greetings cards, coasters, tea towels etc. throughout the year of my lease. It also hosted a programme of exhibitions highlighting the work of local artists, crafts people and photographers.
There are no plans as of yet to find new premises as I am currently enjoying the freedom to travel to new locations and exhibit my art at different venues.
Here is a film and also a selection of photographs taken to make a pictorial record of the gallery.

The gallery can be found on the High Street of the picturesque, Yorkshire Dales town of Pateley Bridge, located about 30 minutes drive from Harrogate in the heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated on the banks of the river Nidd and surrounded by a dramatic landscape the town has a flourishing arts and crafts scene and a range of independent shops and cafes. It makes a great destination for a day out for both tourists and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

The artwork I designed for “Pateley Bridge in Bloom” in 2019 is still proudly displayed on wooden planters along the High Street. The design won a national award at the RHS Britain in Bloom event:
Britain in Bloom Young Champion Award
On 25th October 2019 I was presented with a Britain in Bloom Young Champion Award by the Royal Horticultural Society in London.
