Workshop at Bradford School of Art

James Owen Thomas (JOT), a former student of Bradford School of Art, is an artist who highlights issues of the environment and single use products. He turns things discarded by others into a medium for expression. His aim is to inspire people to reuse and recycle as much as possible. JOT works with unwanted, discarded material and turns it into something quite unique. He will be sharing his techniques to show students at Bradford School of Art how to become more creative using recycled materials.

JOT also achieved a Gold Arts Award through York Theatre Royal. He has received “Springboard” training at The Tetley Gallery in Leeds to deliver workshops. As well as running his own gallery, JOT is a “Force For Nature” Ambassador with the Tree Council and a COP26 “One Step Greener” Ambassador.
